Huntly Power Station biomass alternative to coal on near horizon.

Studying up on our Power provider last month, I took away a couple of positive insights to feature regularly on a page.  A few more checks and back to the drawing board.  

As I write this our power is currently being generated from Hydro sources - three of four constant daily alternatives in our region - Auckland, NZ.  

The fourth, current back-up resource as our provider decides whether we want power or choice - is derived from Coal - Neither a Carbon nor health favour.  Hence I share this page with you all - a powerful and positive statement from NZ's largest thermal power station - the ability to turn around, and head forward into the future with bio-alternatives and sustainability directives well in place.
